Fellowship

Postdoctoral position in the fields of quantum computing, quantum information theory, and foundations of quantum mechanics.

The postdoc will work with Prof. Leandro Aolita, who will be a regular visiting fellow at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics - South American Institute for Fundamental Research (ICTP/SAIFR), in São Paulo, Brazil,

We're looking for a research scientist, permanent position, in the field of quantum computing, more precisely:
-classical quantum simulation on HPC sytems
-quantum programming, in particular compilation techniques, optimisation of quantum circuits

This is a fellowship scheme funded by Aberystwyth University, the Welsh Government and the European Union. It is aimed at researchers with 3-5 years post-PhD experience (no exceptions) and comes with a 2 year appointment. To be eligible, you have to have spent no more than 12 months in the UK over the last three years (0 months is fine!), and applications can be from anywhere in the world.

Skoltech's Quantum Software Initiative is currently offering Postdoc, PhD and Masters research projects to develop the theory and implementation of software that quantum computers will execute.
