Research group:

Two to three postdocs positions until filled with tax-free salary if qualified.

(1) The theoretical quantum optics and ultracold atoms group led by Hsiang-Hua Jen is hiring postdoctoral researchers to investigate the subjects of quantum interfaces, Rydberg-atom-based quantum computation, cavity-QED, non-Hermitian physics, open quantum systems, strong-field quantum optics, quantum engine, strongly correlated systems, and BEC. The group is based at the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences of Academia Sinica (inside National Taiwan Univ.) at Taipei, Taiwan.

(2) The main task of the postdoc involves studies of collective radiations, nonequilibrium many-body dynamics, quantum network, Rydberg atom quantum simulations, Rydberg-atom-based quantum gates, stochastic GP equations of spinor BEC, or machine learning approaches in quantum optics.

(3) The appointment is yearly based and can be renewed. The monthly salary of the candidate is subject to research experience, and is around TWD 70000 (around EUR 2100). A yearly gross of ~27500 Euros (2300 Euros per month in average) can be offered including at most 1.5 month bonus at the end of the year.
