I am happy to announce a new division of MagiQ Technologies called Cambridge Instruments. It is gratifying to see our work on quantum computing result in commercial products. MagiQ Technologies (www.magiqtech.com) is a quantum commercialization company founded in 1999. MagiQ developed and sold the world's first commercial quantum cryptography system in 2002, and remains dedicated to developing quantum technologies for the real world. MagiQ's development of high-performance, compact RF solutions for quantum computing research led to the QuantumWave line of instruments and to the creation of Cambridge Instruments. Cambridge Instruments was created to dedicate resources and focus on the fast growing modular test and measurement industry. Cambridge Instruments was enabled by leveraging previous funding from DARPA and ongoing funding from IARPA.
Cambridge Instruments will focus on serving four market segments with the QuantumWave products:
