This post is a post-doctoral research position undertaking research into the potential for Quantum LDPC Codes to provide practical low overhead quantum computation. The post is part of a recently funded EPSRC grant “Unlocking the potential of Quantum LDPC Codes for low-overhead fault-tolerance” and is key to delivering its outcomes. It is a collaboration with the research groups of Alastair Kay (Royal Holloway) and Ivan Rungger (Royal Holloway and NPL).
The position is funded for 12 months in the first instance, until 31st March 2025.
