I am happy to announce the opening of a 18-month postdoc position (extendable) in Theoretical Physics of Matter at the Physics Department of the University of Florence, in the group of Prof. Leonardo Banchi. The position is funded by the PRIN project “Understanding the learning process of quantum neural networks”, in collaboration with Giacomo De Palma (University of Bologna, Mathematics Department) and Dario Trevisan (University of Pisa, Mathematics Department).

Deadline: 21st January 2024

We are pleased to announce that Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS) located in Daejeon, South Korea is seeking to fill a theory postdoc position. Our institution keeps searching for a highly motivated, well-qualified, and independent scientist who has a keen interest in theoretical quantum information science, including but not limited to quantum sensing, metrology, computation, algorithm, and simulation.

I am recruiting one PostDoc in my group at Inria Saclay, Ecole Polytechnique near Paris. PhD and master thesis candidates are also welcome to apply. As part of a new dynamic INRIA Team located in Saclay, you will have the possibility to collaborate with other quantum information researchers in Paris area and abroad.

TENORS (Tensor modEliNg, geOmetRy and optimiSation) is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network / Joint Doctorate (2024-2027), offering

15 PhD positions

that are expected to start in September/October 2024.

The objective of TENORS is to conduct advanced research that addresses critical challenges in the fields of tensor modeling and computation, joining forces from algebraic geometry, global optimisation, numerical computation, high performance computing, data science, quantum physics.
