The Chicago Quantum Exchange (CQE), Computer Science Department (CS) and Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering (PME) at the University of Chicago are seeking exceptional candidates for the Chicago Prize Postdoctoral Fellowship in Theoretical Quantum Science. Chicago Prize Postdoctoral Fellows will have the opportunity to interact with physicists and computer scientists at the University of Chicago. Current senior members of the group include Aash Clerk, Laura Gagliardi, Giulia Galli, Liang Jiang and Ruben Verresen from the PME as well as Fred Chong and Bill Fefferman from the CS department. Fellowships are awarded for a duration of two years to outstanding young scientists and engineers, with the possibility of a third year of support. The fellowship offers a competitive salary as well as research funding.
Applicants should have a strong research background in their area of interest. Applications stressing collaborative research involving multiple theory faculty are especially welcome, as are applications that foresee collaborations with members of the broad experimental quantum information program at the University of Chicago.
