As part of Nottingham Trent University's commitment to investing in research that shapes lives and society, the university will award 12 fully-funded Vice-Chancellor's PhD Scholarships for 2014.

Entry requirements
Applicants are expected to be highly motivated and creative individuals with strong academic records, and in receipt of a MSc (Merit or above) in physics (or a related subject). Experience in theoretical physics, and interest in quantum information and computing is essential.

The Award
The scholarships will pay UK / EU fees and provide a maintenance stipend linked to the RCUK rate (currently £13,726 per annum) for up to three years.
