Job description

TU Delft’s Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science (EEMCS) invites applications for tenure-track faculty in the area of Quantum Computer Science (QCS). QCS is a growing subdivision of EEMCS at TU Delft, and has a mission to endow society with the full potential of quantum technologies. In view of this endeavour, QCS values research in all areas of quantum computing, quantum information, and quantum communication with a special focus on making quantum technologies a practical reality.

As part of plans to build on existing strengths, to expand our newly established Virginia Tech Center for Quantum Information Science and Engineering (VTQ), and to align with state-wide investments in data sciences and cybersecurity, the Department of Physics at Virginia Tech (http://www.phys.vt.edu) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics and Quantum Information Science.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level in the broad area of Quantum Information Systems and Applications. The appointment is expected to begin September 1, 2023.

Tenure-Track Professorship in Theoretical Physics (W2)

The Department of Computer Science, University of Oxford, is currently advertising four faculty positions, including one in the area of quantum computer science. The closing date for applications is noon, 14th December 2022. For more information, see
