The Vigo Quantum Communication Center (https://vqcc.uvigo.es) at the University of Vigo (Spain) invites applications for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers in experimental quantum optics. You will work in the new quantum computing lab under the supervision of Professor Alexander Lvovsky (https://quantech.group/). The project is aimed at constructing a quantum optical neural network for combinatorial optimization.

The Nonequilibrium quantum dynamics group (https://www.pks.mpg.de/nqd ) at the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems (https://www.pks.mpg.de/) in Dresden (Germany) is looking to hire a PhD student to work at the intersection of quantum many-body physics and reinforcement learning (RL).

We are looking for a doctoral researcher for the Quantum Computing research group of Prof. Mariami Gachechiladze at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. The position starts on 01.01.2025 and is in the scope of the newly received BMBF funding in collaboration with the group of Prof. Jakob S. Kottmann at the University of Augsburg and The Marck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, a leading science and technology company.

Applications are invited for PhD scholarships under the "Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme" to work at the University of Galway (Ireland). Research areas of interest include quantum walks, quantum games, and more generally quantum algorithms. For initial discussions please email [email protected]

We are scouting strongly motivated scholars to join the NEUQUAM team led by Dr. J. Marino (https://sites.google.com/view/nequantumuniv), which will be relocating as Sept 1st, 2025, at the SUNY in Buffalo, USA.
